Shopping in South-Central

Re “Gleaming Mall Struggles to Attract Tenants and Clients,” Nov. 25:

As a resident of View Park and a regular shopper at the Baldwin Hills/Crenshaw Mall, I find it convenient and safe; it meets most of my shopping requirements. Additional outlets would be desirable but this is 1991 and we are in a near depression. To single out the Crenshaw Mall in light of the dire economic circumstances in which we live (i.e., job losses, debt overload) is folly. The future of the mall is bright. The support of Councilwoman Ruth Galanter and her staff has been greatly appreciated.
