Sorry, Mr. Wyman: No, the Rolling Stones’ Bill Wyman did not ask for 1 million British pounds to leave the band, as reported in London’s Daily Mail. The newspaper printed this apology on Friday for its recent article about Wyman: “No decision has been taken as regards his (Wyman’s) future with the group, and at no stage has he demanded 1 million pounds or any other sum from the group, nor is he contemplating doing so. We are happy to put the record straight and sincerely apologize to Mr. Wyman.”
