Exxon Announces Oil Find: Exxon Corp. said it had made a potentially significant oil and natural gas discovery topping the equivalent of 100 million barrels of oil in the deep water of the Gulf of Mexico, about 150 miles south of Galveston. Exxon holds a 67% interest in the well, with BP Exploration Inc. owning the remaining 33%.
