C. R. Weaver, chairman and chief executive of Clorox Co., announced that he will retire in June.
Weaver, 63, said he will continue as a director of the Oakland-based company that manufactures household cleaning products.
“Several key strategic and management decisions are behind us and the company is well positioned for growth,” said Weaver, who has worked for Clorox for 25 years.
A special committee of the board is looking for a successor.
