Wiltern Gets ABT: American Ballet Theatre confirmed Wednesday that the company will perform at Los Angeles’ Wiltern Theater Jan. 30-Feb. 2, just ahead of its Feb. 4-9 performances of “Don Quixote” at the Orange County Performing Arts Center. The Wiltern program will include Michael Smuin’s new production of “Peter and the Wolf,” with onstage narration by Carol Burnett of a libretto written by “MASH” creator Larry Gelbart. ABT also will perform “Moon Dance,” a new ballet by company member John Selya, and Jiri Kylian’s “Sinfonietta.”
