Do the President or the Congress ever read the statistics of the continuing loss of jobs in the United States that will never be recovered? Does anyone understand that lowering interest rates and cutting taxes are not answers to the loss of jobs and income to families. When you are unemployed and have no prospects for a job, you hoard every cent you get your hands on. The people in this country do not know if they have job security anymore.
What is the incentive for companies to manufacture products in the United States when it is cheaper for them to go overseas or in the case of California--into Tijuana--and avoid taxes, workers’ comp, environmental issues and can pay a worker in Tijuana $4.50 per day.
When are the people who run our country going to understand that the American people need jobs?
