Divorced: Actress Linda Lavin, star of the TV sitcom “Alice,” was granted a divorce on grounds of adultery and cruel and inhuman treatment from Clifford (Kip) Niven. The 54-year-old actress sued for divorce in 1989, saying he treated her with “contempt and disgust.” Lavin got the divorce in New York last week in an unusual open court session before acting state Supreme Court Judge Phyllis Gangel-Jacob.
