Blacks, Latinos and Rebuild L.A.

Having read Hermosillo’s column, I have to admit a certain amount of cynicism. After all, his article is nothing more than an example of self-serving tribalism parading under the guise of fairness--the brave new world that “multiculturalists” have told me that I must learn to love (or else). What is the Rebuild L.A. effort but a loud and public squabble over entitlements?
As a white American, I know my role--feel guilty and pay, pay, pay whatever amount the government (which long ago abandoned me and my kind) demands.
So you’ll need to excuse me if I don’t exhibit much interest in who’s physically rebuilding Los Angeles. I’m only here to fund this exercise in “fairness”--for the time being.
