Magic’s Re-Retirement: Was It Caused by Fear, Rumors or Mailman?

I’ve heard doctors, agents and AIDS activists use terms to describe the potential threat of Magic Johnson spreading his HIV infection to another player such as highly unlikely, remote, improbable and ridiculous.
However, I haven’t heard anyone say “No, you cannot get infected by contact on the court.”
Until there is that certainty in the minds of players, coaches, owners and fans, Magic and others with HIV will continue to be victims of what we don’t know.
