The nimble-tongued Puba’s first solo effort consists of surprisingly lightweight ghetto fluff that downplays politics and only occasionally boosts black pride. Puba is stuck in that old boasting, girl-chasing rut, offering no new insights. More intriguing are the beats, which are languid and tantalizingly offbeat.
