PREP SOCCER ROUNDUP : Ocean View’s Late Goal Enough to Beat Rosary

Gina Sanchez scored with one minute remaining to give Ocean View, ranked No. 8 in Orange County, a 1-0 victory over Rosary in a Sunset League girls’ soccer game Friday at Ocean View.

Ocean View improved to 12-3-1, 3-0 in league. Rosary is 5-6-1, 1-2.

In Empire League boys’ soccer:

Cypress 3, Katella 2--Joe Meza had a goal and an assist in the first half for host Cypress (6-3-2, 2-1). Katella is 0-3 in league.

In Orange League boys’ soccer:

Anaheim 3, Magnolia 0--Jose Sanchez, Eddie Escobar and Alex Perez each scored for visiting Anaheim (9-2-1, 2-0).

In Pacific Coast League boys’ soccer:

Century 3, Laguna Beach 0--Nacho Vega, Adolfo Aguilar and Jose Lopez scored goals for host Century (3-3-2, 1-1).
