Northridge Signs 5 Junior College Football Players

Jeff Long, a 6-foot-5, 280-pound offensive tackle from Moorpark College, is one of five football players who signed letters of intent with Cal State Northridge on Friday.
Long, a two-time Western State Conference selection, is from Granada Hills High where he earned Northwest Valley Conference honors while helping the Highlanders win the 1990 North Valley League title.
Shaun Williams, Shaun Coleman, Tim Gardner and Trevor Watters also signed on the final day of the junior college signing period.
Williams (6-4, 250) is a defensive lineman from San Bernardino Valley College. Coleman (5-10, 225), a fullback, is transferring from Saddleback College. Gardner (6-2, 240), a def e nsive lineman from L.A. Southwest College, is a former teammate of CSUN defensive lineman Victor Myles. Watters, a 6-2, 285-pound offensive lineman, earned All-Mission Conference honors at Cerritos College.
