Carter Hawley Hale Stores Inc., the parent of The Broadway department store chain, has selected Edwin J. Holman--the company’s executive vice president for operations since 1991--for the positions of vice chairman and chief operating officer.
In his new posts, Holman, 46, is expected to concentrate on productivity issues and will manage Carter Hawley’s finance, human resources and real estate operations.
