With Snow’s “Informer” dominating the pop singles chart, his debut album, “12 Inches of Snow,” gets stronger each week, moving up three more notches to No. 5. This pop/dancehall reggae performer may power his way up to No. 2. After invading the Top 20 in its first week--entering at No. 14--Ice-T’s “Home Invasion” has cooled off, steadily slipping down the chart, landing at No. 34 this week.
* SWV (short for Sisters With Voices) is the latest of a new crop of female R&B; vocal groups--in the En Vogue mold, of course. SMV’s “It’s About Time,” which is over the 500,000 mark, moves up two notches to No. 23, with a boost from its Top 10 pop single, “I’m So Into You” (No. 7).
