Chamber Music Winners: The New England Conservatory Honors Woodwind Quintet took top honors at the 47th annual Coleman Chamber Music Assn.’s Chamber Ensemble Competition on Saturday at Caltech. The group from the New England Conservatory of Music won the $3,000 Coleman Award for woodwinds and brass. The $1,800 Saunderson Award went to the Borealis Saxophone Quartet from Michigan State University and the $1,000 Russell Award went to the Felici Quartet of Indiana University.
