Today’s Tom and Roseanne Item: The Arnolds’ saga with ABC continues. Last month, Roseanne Arnold threatened to take her top-rated series, “Roseanne,” to another network if ABC didn’t renew hubby Tom’s sitcom, “The Jackie Thomas Show.” Last week, Tom reported that he was tired of waiting for ABC’s decision and was going to do a series for CBS. On Monday, ABC canceled “Jackie Thomas Show.” And now, the Arnolds have announced that ABC Entertainment has signed a non-exclusive, first-look multi-series agreement with the couple’s Wapello County Productions, with “on the air commitments,” to develop new series and specials for ABC. The Arnolds will be executive producers for these projects.
