SIMI VALLEY : Author to Speak at Women’s Day Event

Susan Forward, a therapist and best-selling author, will be the keynote speaker Sunday at the second annual Women’s Day event at Simi Valley Hospital.
Forward’s books include “Men Who Hate Women and the Women Who Love Them,” “Toxic Parents” and “Obsessive Love.”
The program will also feature speakers and workshops focusing on financial matters, relationships, building self-esteem and other topics.
Women’s Day activities, which attracted 125 participants last year, will run from 12:30 to 5 p.m. in the hospital’s Aspen Outpatient Center, 2750 Sycamore Drive. Forward’s talk will begin at 1 p.m.
The hospital has asked Women’s Day attendees to make reservations by calling 583-8971. The cost is $15 with reservations and $35 without.
