OJAI : Man, 44, Arrested in 12-Year-Old’s Rape

A 44-year-old Ojai man was arrested on suspicion of child molestation after a 12-year-old girl told her mother she was raped at gunpoint during a camping trip in Ojai last month, authorities said Friday.
Ventura County sheriff’s deputies said they arrested Robert Allen Phillips on suspicion of molesting the girl at Camp Comfort in Ojai at the end of May.
The girl reported the rape to her mother after returning home to Las Vegas from a camping trip with her father, deputies said.
