San Juan Capistrano’s Oxley Wins Main Event in Speedway Racing

COSTA MESA — Brad Oxley of San Juan Capistrano won the four-lap scratch main event at the Orange County Fairgrounds during Friday night’s speedway motorcycle racing.
Louis Kossuth of Diamond Bar finished second in the scratch main and also won the eight-lap handicap main. Charlie Venegas of Costa Mesa finished third in the scratch main, and Steve Lucero of Riverside was fourth.
Ed Castro of Ojai was second in the handicap main, Andy Northrup of Ontario third, and Bobby Schwartz of Costa Mesa fourth.
