Quartz Hill 37, Ridgecrest Burroughs 28--Keith Lilley kicked a 26-yard field goal with four minutes to play, giving the Rebels (8-0, 3-0) the lead for good at Ridgecrest.
Brad Breckenridge, who scored the game’s first touchdown on a 75-yard run, clinched the victory by catching a 16-yard scoring pass from Brad Norris with two minutes to play. Norris finished 18 of 29 for 301 yards and four touchdowns.
