Despite widespread speculation that former Virgin Records U.S. Co-Managing Director Jeff Ayeroff would split with longtime partner (and Virgin’s other former co-managing director) Jordan Harris and emerge at the top of a major record label, music industry insiders say it’s not so. Current chatter has the duo resurfacing in an “entrepreneurial” situation, probably through a deal with an existing major. Ayeroff and Harris left Virgin in August.
