House of Fabrics Inc., a Sherman Oaks operator of retail fabric stores, has promoted Doyle W. Parker to executive vice president of buying.
Parker, 46, joined the company in March as vice president of craft buying, and subsequently was named senior vice president of buying. He previously worked as a craft buyer at Wal-Mart.
House of Fabrics also said Peter J. Lynch has resigned as executive vice president of finance and administration and chief financial officer. Donald W. Boyer, vice president and controller, has been appointed senior vice president, controller and chief financial officer.
Also, Eric R. Schwarz has been promoted from vice president of inventory management to senior vice president of inventory management.
