Rep. Fish Says He Won’t Run Again, Cites Cancer

WASHINGTON — Rep. Hamilton Fish Jr. (R-N.Y.) announced Tuesday that he will not seek reelection, because he has health problems. Fish, 67, said he had planned to run again in November but changed his mind after learning that he would need treatment for prostate cancer. He also is scheduled to have a lesion removed from his lung next week.
