Glaxo Pursuing Stake in McKesson: Glaxo Holdings is negotiating a multibillion-dollar deal with McKesson Corp., which owns the largest U.S. prescription drug program, according to London’s Sunday Times newspaper. The British drug firm may either take a significant stake in the U.S. company or buy it outright for an estimated $4.0 billion, the newspaper said. McKesson owns Prescription Card Systems Inc., which manages the prescription drug program for 300,000 Chrysler Corp. employees, retirees and their dependents. McKesson closed at $72.50 Friday on the New York Stock Exchange.
