Bothered by a Book

I spent $25 on “Egon Ronay’s Hotels and Restaurants in Great Britain and Ireland” as recommended (by Prof. David Littlejohn) in “Taking the High Road Across Britain” (June 13, 1993). The book should be called “Hotels and Restaurants for the Rich and Famous.” Most of the listings are out of the range of many people who want to visit the U.K. but not end up in the poor house.
