Coto de Caza’s Booth Leads Tournament

Kellee Booth of Coto de Caza has a two-shot lead over Fullerton’s Jenny Lee after the second round of the Girls’ Junior Championships tournament, played on the 6,133-yard, par-72 El Conquistador Country Club Sunrise course in Tucson.
Booth shot a two-over 74 after shooting an opening-round 68. She had two-round total of 142.
Lee shot a 71 Sunday and is at 144. Jenny Glasgow of Corona del Mar (77-81) is at 158.
The tournament concludes today.

Chris Berry of Yorba Linda shot 76 in the second round of the ClubCorp Junior Championship, played on the 6,971-yard, par-72 Country Club’s North Course in Akron, Ohio. His two-day total is 158. Michael Boyd of Tulsa, Okla., leads with a two-day total of 140.
