Quake in Kern County

A moderate 4.3-magnitude earthquake centered 12 miles southeast of Ridgecrest in Kern County occurred Tuesday at 5:49 p.m., Caltech reported.
An aftershock of 3.7 followed at 8:34 p.m. in the same location. Local authorities said no damage or injury was suffered.
