AGOURA HILLS — Agoura High’s Ben Richardson has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Boise State.
Richardson, a four-year letterman who is 6-foot-6, is expected to play guard and forward at Boise. He is the first basketball player from Agoura High to receive a Division I scholarship, according to his coach, Kevin Pasky. He averaged 11 points, 6.3 rebounds and two blocked shots as a junior.
“Boise has been to the (NCAA tournament) and that is interesting,” Richardson said. “Plus they are planning a move to the Big West Conference in 1996 and that definitely played a part in my decision.”
