As its financial struggles continue, the Orange County Chamber Orchestra will be downscaled for its Schubert program Jan. 22 at the Irvine Barclay Theatre. Music director Diana Halprin will speak on the composer and a chamber ensemble will play the String Quintet in C, D. 956, and the Quartettsatz in C minor, D. 703. Ticket prices will remain the same, $14 to $29. The orchestra’s Nov. 13 program also had been cut back, to recital pieces played separately by Halprin and pianist William Wolfram. (714) 450-3180.
