SEAL BEACH — A Rockwell International Corp. division is expected to announce next week that it has formed a joint venture with a German company to make aerospace products.
Collins Commercial Avionics will provide details in Munich on Thursday about its work with Deutsche Aerospace, a subsidiary of Daimler-Benz, a Collins spokesman said Thursday.
Collins and Deutsche Aerospace have been working toward a final agreement since last spring, when the companies said publicly that they had agreed in principle to form a “strategic alliance” for the joint production of weather radar, satellite navigation and landing systems.
