Rancho Alamitos’ Young Picks Oregon

Chris Young, Rancho Alamitos’ linebacker/running back, has made an oral commitment to play at Oregon, Rancho Alamitos Coach Doug Case said Friday.
Young, a first-team All-Orange County selection, gained 1,662 yards this season. He also had 80 tackles and intercepted two passes.

Kareem Clark, Esperanza defensive back, has orally committed to play at Arizona State, Esperanza Coach Gary Meek said.
Clark, a first-team All-Sunset League selection, made five interceptions last season.
