New Format for South Bay News

Starting June 6, local news from the South Bay will appear each week, Tuesday through Friday, on special pages in the Metro Section, Part B of your daily paper.
The South Bay tabloid section will be discontinued today in preparation for this expanded Metro format, which will provide news and features from communities throughout Los Angeles County.
South Bay community event and entertainment listings will appear Fridays on special pages in the Life & Style section of your paper. Information for these listings may be sent to: South Bay Calendar/Special Sections, Room 600, Los Angeles Times, Times Mirror Square, Los Angeles 90053.
You also will be able to find local events listings through TimesLink, The Times’ on-line news and features service.
