LAGUNA HILLS : Class Teaches Coping With Hearing Loss

People with mild or severe hearing losses can learn to cope with their disability at an eight-week seminar beginning today.
A UCLA audiologist will teach lip-reading skills along with ways that those who are hard of hearing can compensate in business and personal situations.
Audiologist Felice Kolda will teach the classes from 10 a.m. to noon at Glendale Federal Bank, 24221 Calle de la Louisa.
The workshop will be held on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The cost is $90. One family member may accompany each participant at no extra charge.
