The Coalition for a Non-Violent City, which formed after the 1993 Halloween night killings of three boys, has moved from Old Pasadena to northwest Pasadena, an area plagued by gang violence.
Coalition members wanted bigger office space in an area where much of its target audience lives, said Gisselle Acevedo Franco, 38, the executive director who took over in June.
A free open house with refreshments is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the new headquarters, 236 W. Mountain St., Suite 102. Information: (818) 796-9813.
