* Wendy Gutierrez has been named a vice president and county market center manager of Chicago Title Co., headquartered in Ventura. A 15-year employee, she was formerly an assistant vice president and sales manager.
In her new position, Gutierrez will oversee all title and escrow operations in Ventura County, according to Larri E. Jones, manager of the company’s North Coast Business Center.
Chicago Title also has promoted Mark Quandt to east county sales manager and Shannon Steen to sales manager of the firm’s lender division.
Quandt will oversee sales activities in an area that includes the Conejo Valley and Simi Valley.
Steen will oversee lender services while continuing to serve her existing accounts.
* Al Schwartz, a Moorpark veterinarian, has been elected to the board of governors of the California Veterinary Medical Assn.
