Hamburger Hamlet Reports $520,000 Loss

Hamburger Hamlet, a Sherman Oaks restaurant chain, said its loss for the fiscal second quarter that ended June 25 was $520,000 compared to earnings of $13,000 a year earlier. Revenues decreased 4% to $16.7 million from $17.3 million in the second quarter last year.
For the six months that ended June 25, the loss was $490,000 compared to a loss of $314,000 in the same period last year. Revenues were $33.25 million, down 4% from $34.76 million last year.
