Dolias’ Single Leads SCC to Victory Over Menlo

Steve Dolias had a two-run single in the eighth-inning to give Southern California College a 4-2 victory over Menlo in nonconference men’s baseball Thursday at Menlo.
Bryce Primm and Joe Rivera combined for a two-hitter for the Vanguards.
Coach Kevin Kasper recorded his first victory as a college coach. Kasper was previously a middle infielder with the San Francisco Giants.
Southern California College improved to 1-1.
In nonconference women’s softball:
Southern California College 4-1, UC Riverside 2-1--Angela Wolf was two for three with two runs scored and Sarah Waters drove in two runs in the first game for Southern California College, which improved to 1-0-1.
