USC Loses; Boseman and Jones Benched

EUGENE, Ore. — USC committed 24 turnovers and Oregon’s Jamal Lawrence scored 25 points and made seven three-point baskets as the Ducks cruised past the Trojans, 80-60, Thursday night in aPacific 10 Conference game.
USC (11-16 overall and 4-11 in the Pacific 10) played without forward Stais Boseman and center Avondre Jones in the first half. Both were benched by interim Coach Henry Bibby for missing a team meeting earlier in the day.
David Crouse started for Jones and Behzad Souferian played in place of Boseman.
Crouse led the Trojans with 17 points and 12 rebounds and guard Brandon Martin had 16 points and six assists. Boseman had 10 points and Jones had two points and five rebounds.
Lawrence scored eight of the first 10 points for Oregon (15-12, 8-8) and USC never got closer than 10 points after the first five minutes. The Trojans trailed, 46-26, at halftime.
Guard Kenya Wilkins had 18 points and five steals for Oregon.
