Richardson Signs to Play at Long Beach

Chris Richardson, a water polo player at Newport Harbor, has signed a letter of intent to play at Long Beach State, his mother, Nan, said Thursday.
Richardson was a Times first-team All-Orange County section this season after helping the Sailors reach the Southern Section Division I quarterfinals. Newport Harbor lost to Villa Park, 8-7.
