Woman and 2 Men Fatally Wounded in Garage Shooting

A woman and two men were killed in the garage of an East Los Angeles house, county sheriff’s deputies said Wednesday.
The shooting occurred about 9 p.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of South Oakford Avenue. A 15-year-old boy who lives near the site of the slayings said he heard six shots fired and saw a van speed away from the house, deputies said.
All three victims were shot in the upper body, deputies said. The woman died at a hospital, and the two men died at the scene.
The names of the dead were withheld until their relatives could be notified.
The killers were still at large Wednesday night, deputies said.
