Entries Sought for Juried Art Exhibit

The city’s Arts Commission is seeking entries for its spring Orange County Artists Juried Exhibit.
Artists who live or work in Orange County may submit as many as three entries each. All media and subject matter will be considered.
Former UC Irvine art professor Tony DeLap and Orange Coast College art gallery director Irini Valleri-Rickerson will judge the exhibit.
The first-place winner will receive $350, and the city will purchase one piece of art for $800. The winning entries will be exhibited at City Hall from June 6 to Aug. 6.
Entries must be delivered to the gymnasium at the West Newport Community Center, 883 W. 15th St., from 9 to 10:30 a.m. May 18.
