East County sheriff’s deputies have made three arrests in a gang-related shooting that took place last month in Thousand Oaks.
Arrested Wednesday on suspicion of attempted homicide were 21-year-old Rene Patino and two 17-year-old males, all from Thousand Oaks.
The shootings occurred June 29 after a chance meeting of rival gang members in a park in Thousand Oaks, said Sgt. Mike De Los Santos.
No one was injured in the incident.
Another Thousand Oaks man, 21-year-old Hector Pinedo, was arrested the night of the incident but was later released without charges being filed, investigators said.
Patino remained in county jail Friday night on $250,000 bail. The two juveniles were held at Juvenile Hall without bail on the same charges.
