Summer Students Can Be Cited in Jaywalking

Jaywalking high school students have received a failing grade in traffic safety from sheriff’s deputies in Thousand Oaks.
Deputies say they will begin citing students attending summer session at Thousand Oaks High School who jaywalk across Avenida De Las Flores.
Students running into the path of oncoming traffic have led to a serious safety problem on the road, authorities said.
