CZECH REPUBLIC : Actor Gregory Peck Undergoes Surgery

Gregory Peck reportedly was feeling better after falling ill at a film festival and undergoing surgery for appendicitis. The 80-year-old actor was hospitalized in Karlovy Vary, about 70 miles west of Prague, after attending a film festival where he received a lifetime achievement award. He probably will be hospitalized for a week.
