Foothill Students Take State Prize

Megan Buckingham, Erin Lewis and Ken Custer, students at Foothill High School in Tustin, won honors at the California State Science Fair.
Buckingham and Lewis, both freshmen, won a second-place prize in the team projects division. Custer, a junior, took third place in the mathematics and software division.
All three were winners of this year’s Orange County Science and Engineering Fair, and went on from there to the state competition.
