In men’s singles, top-seeded Joko Suprianto of Indonesia defeated Jens Olsson of Sweden, 15-11, 15-12, and No. 3 Dong Jiong of China defeated Thomas Stuer-Lauridsen of Denmark, 15-6, 18-15.
