Interlink Reports 16% Rise in Quarter’s Revenues

Interlink Electronics of Camarillo announced that its overall revenues for the three months that ended June 30 were $3.3 million, up 16% from the same period of 1995, and an 18% increase over first-quarter 1996.
Additionally, revenue from products based on the company’s VersaPoint pointing-device technology increased 46% as compared to the second quarter of last year.
Net income for the second quarter was $140,000, up from the $93,000 posted during the same period a year ago. The year-to-date net income was $193,000, almost a ninefold increase from the $22,000 from the first two quarters of 1995.
Revenues for the first half of 1996 reached $6 million, up 19% from 1995. The company recorded another record quarter and its fifth consecutive quarter of profitability, yielding 3 cents per share for the quarter and 5 cents year to date for 1996, as compared with 2 cents and 1 cent for the respective periods in 1995.
