Hussong’s Hot Stuff

Hussong’s Cantina has been packing them in since 1892, when the legendary bar opened in Ensenada. Now there’s bottled stuff from Hussong’s to use in your own kitchen.

We’re not talking liquor but salsas, designed by J.D. Hussong himself. There are two. Baja Red is a hot-looking chile colorado mixture that’s great with enchiladas, chili con carne or barbecued meats. Baja Green, a tomatillo-green chile blend, goes with Swiss enchiladas and green chile chicken. Both have recipes attached.
