4 Men Arrested in Seal Beach Bank Robbery

SEAL BEACH — Four suspected bank robbers were in custody Wednesday after a three-hour search involving five law enforcement agencies, dogs and helicopters.
About 1:44 p.m., the armed men robbed the Home Savings of America Bank in the 12220 block of Seal Beach Boulevard. at the Rossmoor Center, fleeing the scene in two cars, Seal Beach police said.
They abandoned one car on Seal Beach Boulevard at Rossmoor Center Way and were seen running from the other car in the College Park East housing tract.
Officers caught two suspected robbers quickly. The officers tracked two holdouts to a home, where the men had broken in and were hiding in the attic, police said. Officials recovered all the money and one weapon.
All of the suspected robbers are from Long Beach, police said.
