Woman Killed When Disabled Car Struck

ANAHEIM — A Corona woman died late Saturday when an accident disabled her car on the Riverside Freeway and another car struck her vehicle from behind, authorities said Sunday.
Rita Banuelos, 48, died when she was thrown from her vehicle after it was struck in the eastbound lane of the Riverside Freeway just west of Imperial Highway, the California Highway Patrol said.
The driver of the vehicle that struck Banuelos’ car suffered minor injuries. The driver of that car was not identified.
